Widdington, Saffron Walden

Main Description
A high quality newly constructed 4 bedroom family home occupying a pleasant position nestled away in the heart of this highly sought after village.

Accommodation
The Laurels is a beautiful newly built detached family home with a lovely blend of contemporary style and character, occupying a pretty setting in this peaceful lane placed just a short distance from the local church and village centre.

The house forms part of this attractive development of just 3 houses, all of an individual style and outstanding finish featuring under-floor heating downstairs, engineered oak flooring, porcelain floor tiling, bi-folding doors, oak panelled internal doors, luxury fitted kitchen and Roca sanitary ware.

A central hallway leads into the property with stairs rising to the first floor and a cloakroom to one side. There are 2 reception rooms placed either side of the entrance hall creating a family room/snug and study, both of which look out to the front of the property. A superb kitchen/living space is placed to the rear of the property measuring about 36ft in depth overall, combining a good sized sitting room with a luxury fitted kitchen. There is a beautiful polished stone floor throughout and bi-folding doors creating extensive natural light which lead out to the rear garden. The kitchen itself is well equipped with a range of units in an attractive gloss finish, complemented by light stone worktops, large central island and a range of fitted appliances including twin oven with warming drawer, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room which provides separately enclosed laundry space with more storage cupboards and worktops with a door leading to outside.

On the first floor, the landing leads to all bedrooms and to the well-appointed family bathroom. The master bedroom, bedroom 2 and bedroom 3 each have their own ensuite shower rooms, again finished to a very high standard.

The property is set back behind a gravelled driveway which provides off-street parking for a number vehicles and gives access to a double open-bay cart lodge to one side. The rear garden complements the property well with an extensive paved terraced adjoining the rear of the property creating a lovely external entertaining area with the remaining garden laid to lawn.
